Dr. Kevin Penwell is the President and Founder of Immediate Care of Oklahoma L.L.C. and serves as the COM/CFO (Chief Operational Manager and Chief Financial Officer) of the organization.

Dr. Penwell completed his Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering and Physics at Bob Jones University in South Carolina. He also received his Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine from Oklahoma State University.

Dr. Penwell has a long standing relationship with Oklahoma State University. He, while completing his Fellowship in Sports Medicine, worked as a physician in the Primary Physician Clinic and served the Cowboys as a Staff Team Physician. Dr. Penwell continues this relationship today by serving as an Adjunct Clinical Professor for the Department of Family Medicine at OSU College of Osteopathic Medicine, Tulsa.

Dr. Kevin Penwell is Board Certified with additional certification as Medical Review Officer for Drug Testing. He served as Medical Director for the Occupational Medicine facility of Norman Regional Hospital for 11 years.


Dr. Richard Brock began his commitment to improving the health of others over 17 years ago at Cameron University where he received his Bachelors of Science degree. Upon completing his BS studies, he went on to receive his Doctorate at OSU College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Dr. Brock completed his Internship at St. Michael Hospital in Oklahoma City, OK and then completed his Residency at St. Michael Hospital with a specialty in Family Medicine. He is Board Certified.

Dr. Brock serves as the primary physician and the Medical Director at the ICO facility located at 800 24th Ave. N.W.


Dr. Jeffrey L’Hommedieu is a licensed medical doctor and currently enjoys an active, full-time position at Immediate Care of Oklahoma. Prior to joining Immediate Care, Dr. L’Hommedieu worked in Emergency Medicine at St. Mary’s Hospital ER in Enid, OK.

Dr. L’Hommedieu received his Undergraduate in Biochemistry from Oklahoma Christian. He received his Doctorate in Medicine at the OU College of Medicine, completing his residency at OU Health Science with a specialty in Family Practice. In addition to being the primary practicing physician at the ICO facility located at 3400 Tecumseh Road in Norman, he also serves as that clinic’s Medical Director.

Dr. L’Hommedieu is Board Certified in Family Practice with additional certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Advanced Pediatric Life Support.


Dr. Ralph Nelson received his undergraduate at the University of Oklahoma in Microbiology. He moved to Ft. Lauderdale, FL, completing his doctorate at Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine, Ft. Lauderdale, FL.

Dr. Nelson moved from Florida to Oklahoma City, completing his Internship at St. Michael Hospital and St. Anthony Hospital with a specialty in Emergency Medicine. Residency in Family Practice was completed at St. Anthony Hospital Oklahoma City. Dr. Nelson has his Board Certification in Family Practice. He also actively works in the Emergency Departments in Norman and Lawton.

Dr. Nelson serves as Lab Director for Immediate Care.


Dr. Robert Todd received his Doctorate from the University of Oklahoma. Before that he received his Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines. Dr. Todd previously had a family practice in Edmond, OK before joining the Immediate Care Medical Team. He’s a member of the American Academy of Family Practitioners and has four children.

You’ll find Dr. Todd at our Edmond clinic or West Moore clinic as he fills the role of Medical Director in both locations.


Dr. Wilson is Board Certified in Family Medicine and attended Oklahoma State University’s College of Osteopathic Medicine. He enjoys emergency/urgent care medicine because of the variety of patients he sees on a daily basis. You’ll find Dr. Wilson in one of our Norman locations.


Brian Herb received his Bachelor of Science and Master of Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Nebraska. He enjoys general practice medicine because he believes in being a patient advocate. He is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants as well as the Society of Air Force Physician Assistants.


Jeffrey Melton received his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Oklahoma City University. He then completed his Masters of Science in Nursing from Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, Texas. He has extensive experience in cardiac and neurosurgical care. Most recently Jeffrey has focused on urgent care and family medicine. He enjoys the fast-pace environment and working with all ages in the urgent care setting. He is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practioners.


Amanda Bodine received her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Oklahoma Christian University. She then completed her Master of Health Science as Physician Associate from the University of Oklahoma. Her experience ranges in family urgent care and emergency medicine.

Stephanie Badaroux, PA-C

Stephanie Badaroux received her Bachelor of Science in Nutritional Sciences in 2011 from the University of Oklahoma. She achieved her Master of Health Sciences on 2017 from the University of Oklahoma as well. While finishing up her Masters, Stephanie has completed numerous clinical rotations in a variety of fields, including: Family Medicine, Surgery, Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, Orthopedic Surgery, Pediatric Emergency Medicine, Mental Health, Cardiology, Pediatrics, and Obstetrics and Gynecology. Stephanie is a part of the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) as well as a continuing license with the Oklahoma State Board of Licensure and Supervision Licensed Dietitian since 2012.

Roy Slootheer, FNP-BC

Originally from the Netherlands, Roy pursued an education in nursing in the U.S. after a successful career as a financial planner for twelve years. Roy completed his Masters of Science in Nursing at Graceland University to become a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2016. He is in affiliation with the American Association of Nurse Practitioners as well as the Oklahoma Association of Nurse Practitioners and is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC). Since starting and completing his nursing degree from 2008-2016, Roy has had a plethora of experience from Mercy Hospital to OU Medical Center. Working at Immediate Care as a provider is a fulfillment to a dream that also allows Roy time to spend with his family traveling as well as supporting his kids in their various athletic pursuits.

Mike Braden, PA-C

Starting out with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Oklahoma University, Mike continued his education to complete a Master of Health Science as a Physician Associate Degree in 2016. Completing his degree at OU allowed Mike exposure and experience to many fields of medicine, including: General/Trauma Surgery, ENT/ORL, Cardiology, Internal Medicine, Hematology/Oncology, Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, OB/GYN, Pediatrics, Mental Health, and Primary Care. In addition to this thorough training, Mike also spent time as paramedic, further bolstering his emergency medicine skills. Mike is certified with the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and is Oklahoma State Board certified and licensed.

Jessi Siler, PA-C

Jessi started out her medical career with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of Texas. Continuing on from there, Jessi obtained a degree in Physician Assistant Studies at the University of Texas Medical Branch in 2006. Since then, Jessi has worked hard to improve her skills working in various medical industries, with Urgent Care being her main field of interest.Jessi holds her license with the State Oklahoma and the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistant. She is affiliated with the Oklahoma Academy of Physician Assistants as well as the American Academy of Physician Assistants. Not only has Jessi been able to use her medical skills here in the states, but she has also taken her talents internationally to the Philippines to provide medical support to community doctors.

Jeramiah Walker, APRN-CNP

Jeramiah is licensed and certified as an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner with the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the Oklahoma Nurse Practitioner Association. He is also affiliated with the American, Oklahoma, and Emergency Nurses Associations. Jeramiah has worked the majority of his nursing career in the emergency setting. With a vast array of patients flooding the emergency rooms; his years of experience within these parameters enhanced the training he received as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Jeramiah’s rotations during his NP program included: Women’s Health, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Dermatology, and Emergency Medicine. That training along with hisservice to the community and experience within a clinic setting enhances his abilities to provide competent patient care to all of our patients.
