Randy Martz

Randy Martz is one of our providers. He typically works at our Choctaw and OK Tecumseh clinics. Randy was born and raised in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Randy began his academic journey at Purdue University. After an injury altered his initial plans, he pivoted to a new path and joined the U.S. Navy, where he served as a search and rescue medic. It was during his time in the Navy that he met his wife while stationed in Cuba.
After completing graduate school, Randy and his wife settled in Texas, where they raised their family and spent over 30 years. During that time, he practiced primary care and was also a partner in a successful business venture. Upon selling the business, they relocated to Oklahoma in 2020 to be closer to their children and grandchildren.
Randy now enjoys life on a small ranch, where he embraces his passion for farming. He’s affectionately known as a “closet farmer” who enjoys working on tractors and caring for a growing variety of animals, including goats, chickens, cats, and dogs, with plans to add cattle in the future. When he’s not on the ranch, Randy loves spending time with his grandchildren, especially attending their softball and soccer games, as well as traveling and enjoying the outdoors through hunting and fishing.
Coming from a family with deep roots in healthcare—his father was a hospital executive, and his mother worked in physical therapy—Randy was surrounded by the medical field from a young age. His 30 years in primary care, combined with his military medical background, make him a deeply experienced and compassionate provider.
When asked who he would most like to share a meal with, Randy chose his father, who passed away unexpectedly four years ago. He didn’t get the opportunity to say goodbye; he would love to sit down with his father and talk and share a meal together.
Randy values the efficiency and purpose-driven care provided at Immediate Care. His quality work, calm demeanor, and level-headed approach make him an incredible asset to our clinics. We are grateful to have him on our team.
