Nathan Rainey

Nathan Rainey is one of our dedicated Medical Leads at our Norman 24th Clinic.
Nathan was born in Owasso, Oklahoma. He grew up in Colgate and Ada before graduating from Washington High School.
He’s currently heading into his junior year at the University of Oklahoma, where he’s pursuing his pre-nursing degree.
Nathan has been part of the ICO team for a little over a year. He was introduced to Immediate Care by one of our providers, Kristi Cooksey—his former neighbor!
Healthcare runs in the family, with his grandfather working in a hospital and his aunt being a nurse. Nathan is following in those footsteps and plans to become a psychiatric nurse practitioner in the future.
Outside of work and school, Nathan enjoys spending time with friends and family. He’s a fan of outdoor activities like golf and pickleball, and he grew up playing baseball all the way through high school.
A fun fact about Nathan, he has always been loyal to the Yankees since he was a kid, even though his dad is a Cubs fan.
If he could have lunch with anyone, it would be Cody Bellinger. Cody is Nathan’s favorite active baseball player.
Nathan says his favorite part about working at Immediate Care has been the support he’s received from managers and leadership.
We’re proud to have Nathan on the ICO team—his leadership and his commitment to taking care of our patients make him a valuable part of our Norman 24th Team.
