Meet Lori Conkling, Our Medical Lead in West Moore

Lori Conkling is one of our dedicated Medical Leads at our West Moore Clinic.

She was born and raised in Watonga, Oklahomа. Her favorite part of working at Immediate Care is both the team she works with and getting to perform skills like starting IVs, something she hasn’t gotten to do before working at Immediate Care. While this is Lori’s first role in urgent care, she has been in the medical field since she was 18 years old. She’s always had a heart for helping people and knew early on that she wanted to help people and work in the medical field.

Outside of work, Lori loves anything outdoors. A true water lover, she used to spend a lot of time at the lake and now enjoys fishing and spending time in nature whenever she can. A fun fact about Lori, is that she coached high school cheer and gymnastics for nearly 10 years!

If she could have lunch with anyone, it would be her grandma, and Lori would love to get one more chance to talk to her again and just get to talk about life.

Lori was nominated for her excellence in training. She leads by example, makes sure trainees get hands-on experience, and builds their confidence so they’re ready to succeed on their own.
